my recent stay at a budget-friendly hostel in Bangkok was amazing! The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, and their genuine friendliness truly made me feel like a valued guest. The hostel's proximity to the metro and nearby stores was incredibly convenient, and the relaxed atmosphere in the lobby was perfect for chilling out and unwinding.
One thing didn't go as planned during my stay and it affected my experience.

The room at Hostel 24 was cozy and comfortable, with a cool tiled floor and refreshing air conditioning. It had a seating area where I could relax and unwind after a long day exploring Bangkok. As a laid-back traveler, I felt right at home in this room.
The shared bathroom and toilet were not my favorite, but hey, it's just my personal opinion. Others might not mind them and can still enjoy their stay.

I recently stayed at Hostel 24 for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, being close to the Sky Train and surrounded by supermarkets and a small market. The food at the hostel was delicious and affordable, with generous portion sizes. I also loved that they only charged 1 THB to refill a big bottle with cooled water. The owner, Carmelita, was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure guests had a great stay. The AC in the room was strong, the bed had privacy curtains, and everything was reasonably clean. The hostel also had a friendly atmosphere, with interesting long-term guests behaving like family.
Would recommend this hotel.

The room at Hostel 24 was legit cozy! I loved the cool tile floor and how the air conditioning kept me feeling fresh and comfy. Plus, having a seating area was a major bonus for chillaxing after a long day exploring Bangkok.
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the shared bathroom situation. But hey, that's just me, and I know some peeps don't mind it at all.

The staff helped with airport transfers and sightseeing, while the free WiFi meant I could post selfies all day. The location was perfect for dragging my heavy bags around.
Nothing says luxury like personal lockers and a shared lounge.

One thing I really liked about my stay at the hostel was the cozy and charming decor. The common areas were decorated with beautiful artwork and comfortable furniture, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the thought that was put into making the space feel welcoming and comfortable for all guests. , I found the hotel to be easily accessible for senior people, with well-lit hallways and handrails in the communal areas, making it easier for me to navigate around the hostel.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is more assistance from the children working there. While the staff was friendly and helpful, I would have appreciated some extra support or guidance specifically tailored for elderly guests.

The helpful staff at this hostel made my stay truly memorable. From assisting with airport transfers to providing shuttle services, they went above and beyond to ensure my convenience. One particular staff member had such impressive multitasking skills, they could give a human-robot hybrid a run for their money!
Bugs in bed and cold air con.
